Your wedding day is the best time to express your personal taste and style. Make the most of it. Take it as a time to show off your artistic flair. Your guests are your audience.
Many people, will often try to steer you towards what is more conventional or traditional. But really, what is wrong with being a little different?.
Welcome to the Nineties. You can do just about anything that you want during your ceremony and at your reception, so long as it really expresses the real you. This is not a license for disrespect or vulgarity, but freedom to be who you are. Be yourself and let the elements of the day be yours.WHAT ABOUT COLOUR?
Ultra formal black and white. Pink fairy tale. Blue, silver and gold elegance. Royal indigo, burgundy, purple and teal. Or a spring time of peach, celadon, lavender and pale blue. The possible combinations are endless and can be as colourful as you like.
By all means, pick your favourite colour, or the colour you think compliments you best.
Keep in mind the wedding site though. For instance,
pink and rose may not be the best choice for a peach church. Deep purple may not work well
in a mauve and taupe hotel ballroom. In the same way, deep blue is really not a good
choice for a setting with 1970's rust carpet, unless you are a savage Denver Broncos fan.
